Welcome to the Qrew HR blog. This is where we share practical ideas for the people who keep organisations running: HR teams, managers, founders and the employees they support.
We built Qrew HR to make people operations simpler for Indian businesses, and this blog is an extension of that goal. Rather than chasing trends or writing fluff, we want every post to leave you with something you can use: a checklist, a clearer process, a better question to ask or a mistake to avoid.
Who this blog is for
- HR professionals handling everything from onboarding to payroll, often with a small team.
- Managers who want to run better one-on-ones, reviews and team routines.
- Founders and leaders building a company culture and keeping people costs under control.
- Employees who want to understand their payslip, leave policy or review process.
Whether you run a 10-person startup or a multi-location business, you should find something relevant here.

How we write
A few principles guide every post:
- Practical over theoretical. Steps, examples and checklists you can apply this week.
- Written for India. Indian labour laws, payroll terms and workplace realities, with amounts in ₹.
- Honest about uncertainty. Laws, rates and thresholds change. Where a figure may have been revised, we'll tell you to check the current notified rate rather than quote a number that might be out of date.
- No hard sell. We'll mention Qrew HR where it genuinely helps, and leave it out where it doesn't.
