New Feature

Mobile App 2.0

New leave, attendance, performance, documents, and helpdesk features for a better mobile employee experience in the Qrew HR app.

28 April 2026

Most employees reach for their phone before their laptop when they need something from HR. Mobile App 2.0 brings more of Qrew HR into the employee app, with new leave, attendance, performance, documents, and helpdesk features designed for quick, everyday use.

What's new in the app

Leave

Apply for leave, choose full or half days, check balances by leave type, and track the status of each request. Managers can review and approve their team's requests from the app, with the employee's balance shown alongside so decisions are quick and informed.

Attendance

Check in and check out from the app, with geo-fencing applied where your organisation has set it up. Employees can view their attendance history and raise regularisation requests for missed check-ins, while managers can approve them on the go.

Performance

Employees can view their goals, track progress, and complete self-reviews from their phone during review cycles. Managers can keep an eye on their team's goals and review status.

Documents

Payslips, letters, and policy documents are available in one place in the app. Employees can view and download their own documents without raising a request with HR.

Helpdesk

Raise a helpdesk ticket, add details, and follow its progress from the app. Employees can see when a ticket is open, in progress, or resolved, and reply to HR within the same thread.

Profile updates

Employees can view their profile and request updates to personal details, which go through your normal approval flow.

How to get started

  1. Update or install the app. Employees should update to the latest version of the Qrew HR mobile app from their phone's app store.
  2. Sign in. Employees use the same login they use for the web app.
  3. Check permissions. If your organisation uses mobile check-in with geo-fencing, employees should allow location access when prompted on check-in.
  4. Review settings as an admin. Confirm which features are enabled for each employee group, such as mobile check-in for field teams only, from Settings in the web app.
  5. Share a quick guide. Let employees know what they can now do on mobile so they use the app instead of emailing HR.
Tip: Mobile check-in is especially useful for field and hybrid teams. Pair it with clear attendance rules so everyone knows when location is captured and why.

Who benefits

  • Employees can handle everyday HR tasks in a minute, wherever they are.
  • Managers can approve leave and attendance requests without waiting to get back to a desk.
  • HR teams receive fewer routine questions and requests by email and chat.
