Enhanced Attendance Insights

New dashboards and reports help you analyze attendance patterns, late arrivals, overtime, absences, and workforce trends.

10 May 2026

Attendance data is only useful if you can see what it is telling you. This update adds new dashboards and reports to Attendance Management so HR teams and managers can analyse attendance patterns, late arrivals, overtime, absences, and workforce trends without exporting data into spreadsheets.

What's improved

Attendance pattern dashboards

See attendance across the organisation, or filter by department, location, shift, or manager. Daily, weekly, and monthly views make it easy to spot patterns, such as a team where Monday absences are consistently higher, or a location where check-ins cluster right at the end of grace time.

Late arrivals and early exits

Dedicated views show late arrivals and early exits by employee and team over any period. Use them to find out whether lateness is an individual issue or a sign that shift timings or commute patterns need a second look.

Overtime tracking

Overtime reports show who is working extra hours, how often, and in which teams. This helps you plan staffing, catch burnout risk early, and check that overtime is approved and paid according to your policy.

Absence analysis

Absence reports separate approved leave from unplanned absence and loss-of-pay days, so you can see where unplanned absence is rising and follow up with managers.

Workforce trends

Trend views compare attendance over months, helping leadership understand how hybrid schedules, seasonal peaks, or new shifts affect presence and hours worked.

Better filters and exports

Every report supports filters by date range, department, location, and employee group, and can be exported when you need to share it or work with it further.

How to use the new insights

  1. Open Attendance → Reports (or the attendance dashboard) in Qrew HR.
  2. Choose the view you need: patterns, late arrivals, overtime, absences, or trends.
  3. Set the date range and filters, such as one department or one location.
  4. Click into a team or employee to see the detail behind a number.
  5. Export the report if you need to share it with leadership or finance.
Tip: Review the late arrivals and overtime views with each manager once a month. Small conversations early are easier than formal action later.

Who can see what

Insights follow your existing roles and permissions. HR and admins can see organisation-wide data, managers see their own teams, and employees continue to see their own attendance records in the web and mobile app.

Why it matters

  • For HR: fewer manual reports and faster answers when leadership asks about attendance.
  • For managers: a clear view of team attendance to plan work and address issues early.
  • For payroll: cleaner visibility of overtime and loss-of-pay days before the monthly cut-off.
