Reports

Generate and understand reports in Qrew HR, from headcount and attendance to leave, payroll, and performance.

Qrew HR keeps the data from every module in one place, so reports pull from the same records your team uses every day. This article explains where to find reports, how to filter and export them, and how to read the ones HR teams use most.

1. Find the report you need

  1. Go to Reports in the main menu.
  2. Reports are grouped by module: Employees, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Statutory, and Performance.
  3. Use the search box if you know the report name.

You will only see reports for modules your role can access. See Roles & Permissions.

2. Commonly used reports

3. Filter a report

  1. Open a report and set the date range.
  2. Narrow it by department, location, employment type, or manager.
  3. Choose which columns to show. Your choices are remembered the next time you open it.
  4. Click Apply.

4. Export and share

  1. Click Export and choose Excel, CSV, or PDF.
  2. Exports include only the rows and columns you filtered.
  3. Exported files leave Qrew HR's access controls, so share them only with the people who need them.

5. Schedule a report

  1. From an open report, click Schedule.
  2. Pick how often it should run (daily, weekly, or monthly) and who should receive it by email.
  3. Recipients need permission for the underlying data.

6. Read reports correctly

  • Check the date range first. Many "wrong" numbers are actually the wrong period.
  • Attendance and payroll figures for a month are final only after the month is locked.
  • Headcount counts people active on the end date of the range, so someone who left mid-month won't appear.
Tip: Save a few dashboards for recurring questions, such as "attendance this week" or "pending leave approvals", so managers don't need to rebuild filters each time.

Common questions

Why does my report show no data?

The filters may be too narrow, or your role may not include the department or location you picked.

Can managers run reports for their team?

Yes. Managers see reports limited to their direct reports, depending on their role settings.

Can I build a custom report?

You can choose columns and filters on existing reports. If you need something different, write to support with what you are trying to see.
